this sucks (dnr range rant)

Crawl up on the roof and shoot them out of the lawn. Due to no availability of weedicides I chose the next most reasonable option. I wore a helmet for safety since suppressors are prohibited and chose not to wear pants for religious reasons. I'm not drunk, you are. No I won't get down.

Maybe works in Alberta, but I think dandielions are a protected species in Ontario. Can't buy weedicides here anymore.

Tactical bulldog says this thread sucks

Well tactical bulldog requires additional petting, I will be happy to oblige.

I will try the weedex. That is some good info....
Jeromeo, make sure you read the label & mix it with water at the right concentrate.
If you mix it too strong, you will have a burn spot on the grass for at least all summer long!

But the spring pre-growth Weed-Ex attack works best IMO. Also once in the early fall too, (with the garden hose & mixing bottle full of Weed-Ex & water) another generous attack with Weed-Ex concentrate will severly cut down on the weeds that would otherwise first pop up next spring. If you like myself with uncaring neighbors, I still spot spray with a handheld spray bottle about twice a month, just to keep on top of the dandielion seeds that have taken root after blowing in from other lawns. These herbicides, as mentioned previously by others, need broad leaves to sit on and then become effective at killing the weed plant.

good luck.......

Edit: Nice side effect of dragging the weed bar around the lawn: dogs and cats off leash will most likely NOT choose to pee or cr@p on a lawn that smells of weed bar chemicals!!! They no-likey the odor! ;)
