Well we went on our normal deer hunt for the year,took my dad and hubby and hunted in a new area ( one of dad friends property's )
So the last few years we have gone out I've let hubby get his tags first as he'd never hunted before we met so it was a big thing for him to get deer.
This year i bought my tags just incase this place had more deer then we were told.We walk down to the field and there was 2 nice mulely does standing there..wow 10 min into the hunt and deer! but they see us and start to run.Hubbys didnt want to take a shot so I tee up and hit the doe dead run (about 100yd shot ) right in the head.My dad and hubby's jaws drop and both turn and look at me whoohoo first deer in a while and at a dead run I was stoked.Ok so hubbys turn
see a big whitetail doe,and let him take a shot at her perfect shot! was so happy for him.next day he get his muley doe.
So last day of the hunt and we go for a walk to see if I can get my whitetail doe.We come around the corner and there standing there is a big 3x4 buck!!! wow i tee up and get a perfect shot on him!! walk up and hes a 4x4 untypical even better by this time my dads vibrating with exitment ( hubby cant figure out why) dad give me congrats and say bigger critter then my first buck!
Yup my this was very FIRST buck!!!!
Getting him shoulder mounted cant wait Just had to share !!!
