The last 2 years when we go hunting; (3 of us) we have a spot where we can safely shoot a target without disturbing hunters. We set up and shoot a target at 300 yards.
I shot one shot on it in 2010 and saved the target. It was the only shot I fired.
This year we set up our targets and I fired one more shot at last years target, at 300 yards.
I used the 300 yard cross hair in my scope. It is shooting about 3 inches high at 300 yards but I can live with that.
The two bullets fired a year apart are under an inch.
A very stable rifle. Now if I could just find a moose to shoot...
The 3 of us were lucky this year, we got a nice young bull on our last day of hunting... the only one seen in 9 days...I didn't even go out that morning, I was starting to break up camp as we were leaving very early the next morning...
Back in camp... it looks like Jeff climbed inside... Gary took pictures.
on the meat poles...
550 pounds at the butcher...
