this years whitetail

on the b&c website it scored 166 1/8

i think i measured correctly

Are you kidding? I have to say I'm very surprised. It certainly looks a lot bigger than that, to me anyway. The mass measurements have to be close to 25-30" alone. How long are the beams? That will give a better idea to it's size on camera.

^ Was that the gross score? Gross score to me is the one that matters btw.

^^^ What he said..

That's roughly 135" without the tines. Something doesn't add up? I'm sticking with my 180" (or at least pushing 180) :D

I don't understand your math.. 30 inches of mass and 2 main beams at 23" each only adds up to 76". Add an inside spread of 23 and you are now at 99". Based on the pics I would add 6", 8", 10" and 6" through G1-G4 respectively. That would gross him around 159. I'm assuming I'm a bit short on the G2 and G3s but I would need to see it in person for a better idea. I don't believe he made a mistake on his measurements.

You're absolutely correct. I added the spread twice...lol I stand corrected.

Beautiful deer, regardless of the measurements.
