Not sure where to post this, but can anyone tell me where to find drum mags for a 1928A1 Thompson CA? They of course need to be pinned to 5rds.

The round restriction is funny, why pin to 5rds when we can't get a permit to take it to the range? However it's the only way to get one legally.

Just out of curiousity what is a drum mag for one of those worth? I once picked up a Thompson with drum mag and stick mag in a fitting violin case up from the OPP. I was moving it for a museum and that was the only time I saw a fully auto one up close.

I have one with a defective winder. If you don't intend to shoot it, it might fill the bill. make me a reasonable offer...

Hollyweird strikes again! An original Thompson, even with the horizontal forend fitted, would never fit in a violin case....
