S&W bought the company I think in 2007 and eventually fazed the company out but I heard that the original owner bought the company back this year and was planning on getting everything back up and running. Their website states there is a new product line coming in 2025, but parts of their website don't work.

You can watch Gregg Ritz give some info in a few videos on Facebook.
I don't do Facebook and was able to watch them.
Encore, contender, triumph and other muzzleloaders coming back. Parts and some Encore barrels this fall, doubt we'll see much here for awhile.
Go to the tc arms website and scroll top right and click on the Facebook link.

If I have been following correctly, there will be stuff sold under the Thompson Center Arms brand again - made in different factory, by different workers, under different owners. No doubt some will think or say about how good they are, based on their previous experience. I suspect what will be for sale might as well be made in Syria or India - is nothing - whatsoever - that a buyer can tell about whatever the new product will be like, except that it is "new" - with no track record at all.

And, for some buyers, maybe "new" and a good warranty process is all that is important, to spend their money.

As others have said, Gregg Ritz bought the company back from Smith & Wesson and will be moving the company back to Rochester, NH (S&W had moved the company after they purchased it).

So same owner as before and will be the same plant as before.
