I came across the Thompson Center T/CR22 the other day on the internet and from what I have read/watched so far it sounds like a good rifle.
Anyone seen one or used one of these yet and if you have what are your thoughts on it compared to the Ruger 10/22?
If I was to get one I would prefer the wood stock version but I have only spotted one at Cabela's and it has the green composite stock.
Do you know if anyone else is selling these besides Cabela's?

I got a T/C Benchmark the older version and shoot very good out of the box, the one I have is the target version with the wood stock. Trigger is similar or a bit better than a 10/22 I would say out of the box group better than a 10/22 but way less parts to customize. I see one used in a quebec store but is the lynx black version. not that much of information's. but you have some progress for your reflexion.

Thanks for the info, not exactly what I am looking for but appreciate the info.
I am in no rush so I will keep looking for the model I am interested in.

I bought one from Cabelas last week when they were on sale for $379. Haven't had chance to shoot it yet but it certainly seems to be decent quality. One common problem which they seem to have is the front sight being slightly askew out of the box. It's an easy fix by removing the action from the stock and loosening the two hex screws on the v-block at the base of the barrel. Then you turn the barrel until the sight is straight and tighten everything back up. I don't know why they can't install them straight at the factory but there you go. Apart from that, by all accounts, it's a pretty good alternative to the 10/22.

I purchased mine in August and have easily run over a 1000 rounds through it. I've never owned a 10/22 so I can't compare them, but I love this gun. I purchased it as a package with a soft case, sling, and red dot for $399. Honestly, the red dot is useless, the sights themselves are perfect for plinking.

Thanks MisterJ and Flixe40 for your replies with experience so far with yours.
Flixe40 what stock does yours have and where did you purchase it?
