I was recently in Calgary visiting family there.
Treated myself to a handgun rental at the Calgary Shooting Centre.
The Beretta Neos was okay, but the 30-30 T/C Contender pistol was very interesting indeed.
And the Truglo red dot was alright. Used Federal Fusion brand 150 grain factory ammo. The felt recoil with a two hand hold is more comfortable than my 44 Magnum Colt Anaconda with factory rubber grips and full house magnum loads.
Certainly a friend's 500 S&W Magnum has alot more recoil energy and shooter discomfort to the palm of the firing hand.
