Looking for stores that carry this particular rifle. I see some websites that carry the manufacturer, but not the particular model I'm after or at least it's not on their website.

For the folks that have one, where did you buy it?

They have been discontinued for a few years now.

Two years ago I bought all that a store had, as they had them deeply discounted. They didn't sell well as they were too expensive compared to a ruger 10/22 and the tight chamber made feeding ammo an issue with cheap bulk ammo so folks just didn't buy them so they were discontinued, as the previous poster said.

TC discounted them heavily to get rid of the stock so they pretty much all sold. I don't think you will find a new one anywhere in a store in North America. if you do its pure luck as it will have got lost on a back shelf or something.

Buy one if you find one, as they ARE an incredibly accurate semi auto 22. Every one I have shot, outshoots any CZ I have shot. they really are that good. a little known fact is the R55 uses a match grade barrel made by shillen. Its not a Thompson made barrel.
