A few years ago I had extractor problems on a 25 06 barrel, I think this was just after Smith and Wesson bought them out, I needed an extractor and it was an almost new barrel and there were none available in Canada. I think a gunsmith in Victoria was the contact for parts and repairs, and He said parts were a year or two away. I had owned a few barrels and a couple of stocks. I spoke to someone at TC in the states and they were less than interested in helping a Canadian customer. So I sold all the TC items I had at a loss. When I want a single shot I will buy a CVA or maybe an old NEF/H&R. Since then I will not own anything that is Smith and Wesson. I have heard the original owner repurchased the company back from Smith and Wesson so maybe they will fix their problems.
TC isn’t shipping outside the US. They informed their US distributor that they aren’t allowed to ship outside of the country.
Ron at Nine35 is trying to become the official distributor for Canada. The US distributor did release a few barrels to Canada. Ron was able to get one order. He is still able to get MGM and SSK barrels. Stuff he did get was for the Encore.
