I recently purchased a Thompson Contender barrel in 45/410 with the original choke tube missing. There were internal chokes made in 357 and 44 magnum. I assume the internal 357 magnum choke would be too constriced to fire a 410 shell through but wonder if the internal 44 magnum choke would work. I also guess finding an external choke tube would be second to the coming of Christ.

You a 45 barrel so you need a 45 choke.
