Thompson Encore barrel in 7.62x39

Does anyone know if barrels were ever made in 7.62x39 caliber that fit the Encore Pro Hunter?

Secondly if so, is there anyone in Canada who sells them?

Thompson was bought out, you will have to look at the after market manufacturers on line . Nothing in Canada that I know of.

T/C is currently not up and running. You either have to buy used or custom barrels.

TC Pro Hunter barrels of any sort are getting harder & harder to source.

I have a stainless TC Pro Hunter Encore action set up with a factory stainless fluted .280 Rem barrel. Was able to source 3 other stainless fluted barrels [.22-250; .270 Win & .30-06 Sprg] at a local gunshow awhile back. Sold the .22-250 on the EE here. So far, keeping the other two for now.

Didn't originally come in 7.62 but there are companies out there that can make you one such as Bullberry. Then send it off to Prophet river or Irunguns for import !!

NINE35 can order any chambering you want I believe. Not sure if he’s still doing it, but thats where I got my barrels from a while back. Give him a google search

Thanks Lads I kind of suspected I would have to get one made and not sure if I need one that bad if it is too costly. I will check out these leads.
