Those 2 Finn Mosins on EE

Anyone else see those two Finn Mosins posted on the EE around the supper hour?

The seller clearly didn't know what they had, as they were listed at $225 each or $400 for both.

Odd how the ad has since disappeared, while other "sold please delete" ads still sit there.

Makes me wonder if a mod swooped in, threw $400 at the seller and then quickly deleted the ad...

Ads just don't get purged that fast here after they've been sold.

They were there in the morning. I was tempted, but passed as I've got a couple, and they are freaking long! Hard to fit them in my vertical gunrack wall....

Some of them are so poor, they aren't even worth that. Hard to say what exactly they were.

They look like Finnish capture 1891 Mosin Nagants. They had 1916 sight modifications. One had a Finnish brass unit disk. The other had a recess of where the disk used to be.

They both had Finnish dog collar sling hangers, and cleaning rods.

That's all you could tell from the pics. Bore condition, wood condition, stock integrity, year, arsenal etc. is unknown.

I did not buy them - someone beat me to them haha

I messaged him but they were long gone before i saw the ad. Im sure his inbox s flooded, as one was a m24.

I thought one looked like a M24. I sent him a message and he said they were sold. he said I don't know anything about these rifles. and only one photo. I was wondering if the barrels were toast due to how he worded the add.
