Those fancy thumbhole stocks for the SKS's are now available!

You know you can get that for 40$ from SKSman.Just sayin....:onCrack:

You can do what you want, but when it shows up and there's a $20 brokerage fee and the possibility of having customs stop and hold it almost indefinitely, is it really worth whatever you think you might save?

I support small, local places because that's what I do. I'm not prepared to pay absolutely anything for a piece of equipment just because the store is small, however, I will certainly pay more.

Really about the only time I do order stuff from the states is when it's not available here.

Ah geeze..... I thought they were a supporting Canadian dealer. Thanks all the same, but I don't mind paying a little more for Canadian shops. I too would generally only use an international source if an item was exceedingly hard to find here and thus, not worth the time to find. And firearms supplies crossing the border makes me uneasy just thinking about it.

I've gotta say man, I'm really not digging the look of that stock. But I guess to each there own.

Thanks for the support, Most people dont realize the difficulty & the expenses involved in locating, importing & stocking a large stock of parts, on hand, so they can have their items promptly, from a Canadian based company. We really appreciate all the support we have been receiving from fellow Gun nutz. We are trying to offer CGN specials to offer better value. Check our post under General business HERE for regular specials on our products.

Your welcome..... Truth is, I would never want to run a gun shop. All of the paperwork and regulations, extra fees, etc must make it an administrative nightmare, especially if you have a busy shop with a lot of turn over of merhandise.

I am just glad there are dealers out there doing it for the rest of us, so we don't have to risk dealing with a mis-informed customs agent, one that may be having a crummy day, or forgetting to dot an "I" or cross a "T" on our paperwork thereby risking seizure of our stuff, possible fines or worse. Would I pay a little extra NOT to have to worry about all that nonsense? You bet your booty I would..........:p

I find most aftermarket stocks need fitting at the rear to clear the tech site, i havent actually tried it with the Timbersmith stock yet though...
