Thoughts and experiences with Sako's Hammerhead Ammo?

Who here has used this ammo on big game? How did it perform? I just picked up a bunch of this stuff (discounted) and notice it showing up at a couple other retailers.

Curious on how they perform in general but I picked up 338 WinMag, 250 grain.

I have some of their match ammo in .300 win mag. WAY,WAY too hot of a load. It’s awful stuff. For my rifle anyway.

I tried it, 308 150g and it wasn't accurate in the Ruger. Given the price i didn't feel it was worth it. I've had cheap Federal Power Shok group better.

Which is crazy because I always thought of Sako as premium ammo and Federal as dependable but budget ammo.

I just stocked stocked up at $42/box but only 10 rounds, so equivalent to $84/box, which is still pretty decent for 338.

I still do see it there. It’s excellent brass, shoots well (did in my Sako lol) and performed as it should. I did think the bullet was anything to write home about, but for the dollar was adequate.
