Thoughts on Best Gun for Bear Defence...

Interested in anyone's thoughts on the best Bear Defence Gun for Yukon/BC/AB. Intent is not for hunting just as the more powerful pepper spray. I prefer my Remington 870 12 Gauge with Slugs and Double Buck.

It's not the length of the sword ,but how you use it ,that matters..

in grizzly country, i would use 12 ga, copper plated deep penetrator slugs from federal, as foster slug may not penetrate enough.
if i had to choose, i would use a marlin 1894 dark series in 45-70.

I’ll take a chainsaw over a sword any day, a Husqvarna 372xpg with a 28” bar will be my choice.
