Thoughts on CZ 550 American Safari Rifle?

I've got one in 9.3 x 62mm and I absolutely love it. Just buy it and shoot it.

I like the looks of that M70 better than the CZ. Either would be great but I like the M70 safety better than the CZ.

If I didn't already have a M98 in 9.3x62 I'd have the 550.

I have to agree the Model 70 just had a little bit better looks. The fit and finish was just a little nicer. Here's a picture of the one I bought.

I switched my 550 .375 over to a Gentry M70 type, it cost about half of what the rifle cost by the time the fat lady chimed in. It's kind of interesting to have the same mag capacity as 2 M70s or Remingtons.
I like a M70 and CFR rifles as much as the next guy, but a lot of it is hype. A rifle either works or it doesn't, and anyone who can learn to shoot can learn not to short stroke a bolt.
