Thoughts on Marlin XT-17

Has anyone had the opportunity to try the new Marlin XT-17V? I was looking at it and thought it may be a good competitor to the Savage line of .17's. At $280 it's a pretty good price but is there a sacrifice?

you have found an xt 17?
i have several dealers that are to let me know as soon as they can get me the xt 17 vsl , and i havent heard from any of them yet
