Thoughts on NEA 15 rifles?

We will see how it goes i suppose, i tried multiple searches but all i seemed to come up with would be a slight mention of a receiver, upper or lower that was used in a build buried in page 8 of a 16 page thread..

Last time i let her impulse buy without any research i ended up stuck with a mossberg 715t piece of junk... Never again quick Google and i found out that Nea has a lifetime warranty policy, that's a bonus.

Some companies develop products to sell. Others sell products that have been developed. This is what you need to decide on. Not lifetime warranties.

Lifetime warranties from companies often needing replacement parts are honored with more parts likely to fail again.

A company with well developed products is less likely to imply a lifetime warranty as a selling feature.

The fit and finish of these rifles is rough in comparison to other guns in the same price range. I have handled a few and have not been impressed.
As for reputation, the owner has been pritty much run off these boards....especially after that incident when he got caught insulting the members here on another board because he felt thee issues of you know, bolt and trigger failure, tools marks and other serious QC issues was not worth whining over.

Funny how everyone has all but forgotten about another site sponsor and the issue he had a few years ago... atrs was once treated much the same as NEA is, but it seems he can now do no wrong.

My personal experience is quite different.

I'll never deal with rick again, but I'm extremely happy with my NEA and the service I received from them and sfrc. I'm going to get more NEA guns, and aside from changing personal preference stuff like the stock, grip, etc, I love my NEA.

I received my NEA 15 2 weeks ago and I was impressed with the finish. I when to a local store before buying it and I had the chance to handle Windham, Ruger, DPMS and Armalite AR`s. I finally took the call to order a NEA 15 online and I would say that the NEA rifle I received is on par with other brand for finish and quality so far. The NEA AR`s does have a different color and finish than some order brands, but actually I prefer the grey look on them. Some of the other AR's I played with in a local store had more loose between the Upper and Lower which was annoying me too much, the NEA I received is tight and doesn't wiggle at all.

I will never purchase another product from NEA. I have purchased a bunch of stuff from them, and been disappointed every time with major QC issues. Combine that with the history of BS quality control that has come from that company as reported by others on this forum and others, along with the incident that gets people banned on CGN, and I feel well warranted in warning people away from the company.

When I put real money down on product, I expect that the manufacturer has pride in his product, and the product will perform. I have zero confidence in NEA anymore, a company that does not have pride in the product they send out has no place in my life.

Such a shame...

I would avoid NEA like the plague.
I hate their handguards, and the grey finnish.
They pumped out a product before it was ready and the customers paid for it.
Creation of fake accounts praising the company... remember "shillgate"
There are to many good AR's for about that price or even a little more.....

LOVE MINE !!! had some issues with it but it was the ####ty ammo I was shooting. I would buy a other one in a heart beat. I'm looking at getting the 300blk upper form them.

Took a 2 day defence training about 1 week after buying it. It rained but it was still fun. NEA15 performed very well.
