Trying to decide on my first handgun and pretty much settled on either the Glock or the M&P 2.0 in 9mm, going to pick one and run it hard. Don't have any real experience with handguns so I'm basically starting from scratch here.
Played around with a gen 5 g17 and the m&p today, shot several mags through each. Accuracy was about the same, mags and controls felt better on the Glock, trigger and grip felt better on the mp. Prefer the look of the M&P. The Glock was definitely more broken in. Overall, really even.
But there was one thing that really stuck out at me, when I brought the Glock up it lined up square every time. The MP I had to adjust up and to the right to align the sights. I never really considered this before but now it's got me second guessing. I was leaning towards the mp before shooting them, as MP felt better in my hand but this is throwing me for a bit of a loop.
