Thoughts on re-lining a .22 barrel.

I would appreciate comments from anyone who has a .22 barrel re-lined.
Was it successful?
How did it shoot?
Who did the work?

In the past I installed many liners. Done correctly it is hard to detect. They shoot extremely well.
I installed a 17 liner chambered for .17 HM2 and it shoots extremely small groups.

Brownell's is now exporting Redman liners with an import license from a Canadian. Previously Redman was not registered with the State Department. I corresponded with him months back and told him Brownell's could not export his product because he was not registered... a few weeks ago I approached him again and he said he is registered... I inquired to Brownell's and Sandy said I just need an import license to process an order for his liners...
 
Guntech or tiriaq, if you don't mind, could you post the process required? I have always been interested in this part of smithing. That and I have an old heirloom that could use a liner.
 
You use a piloted drill or piloted reamer and go in from each end of the barrel, they meet somewhere beyond the half way point. Clean the hole out, clean the outside of the liner... add either a little Loctite or epoxy and slowly 'screw' the liner into place. Let it set up... it's there.

I chamber it first and do a few other things before installing the liner.

They come with full instructions.
 
Glad to know that Redman is now registered with State. Last time I checked w/Brownells, he wasn't.
Guess I better make up an order for all the export controlled stuff that I need.
