Did the Russians blue takedown disks on every single stock? The reason I ask that I find it unlikely someone would mess with this stock without fixing the sanded area on butt plate and the raw wood near the recoil lug but I could be wrong.

There is no hard and fast rule as to what the russians did.
Some escaped the peening of the swastikas.
Some got paint on some of the stock fittings instead of blue.
Even seen a couple that did not get any blue, the whole receiver and barrel was almost in the white, and an other that did not have a X on the receiver ring.
