Thoughts on southern Ontario whitetail deer population

Im in 87 and its not uncommon for my Plott hound to kick up a yote every second day or so. The yote population is way up. We need to reduce it and help out the deer.

if you need a hand with yotes i am very willing to come by and do so

chasing deer in 76 areas, went out this february/march on nice weather days to look for shades and deer tracks, found none, where i use to be able to plot moving corridor, the deer are gone, not a one trail on some properties, still saw the turkey tracks but population seemed to be down 50% from previous year (don't know if that normal drop) but also no yote tracks

I run into deers on bicycle trails first thing in the morning on regular bases. Most recent was 2 weeks ago in ravine near Hwy 27 and Humber College.

That's in both Brampton and Toronto.Buddy of mine in Mississauga has seen them feeding along creeks all the way to Burnhamthorpe Rd.

During winter I see heards 15+ on N sides of 401 near Pearson and Mississauga Rd/Erin Mills but I see them there for many.many years.
