thoughts on the 243

Noob question guys... I just picked up a .243, and agree with most posts here that used properly it will be a fabulous hunting rifle. Savage Model 11 - 1 in 9.25 twist. Now my question is can I reload a small 55 grain BT for coyotes and not have them come apart? I have the rifle sighted in now with 100 gr. hunting rounds for deer, it seems to stablize them well enough, although I think I am approaching the upper limit with 100 grainers..what is the lower limit while staying sub-MOA?
This was asked already here but not answered well enough for this reloading noob...lol.

Your 100gr deer bullet will also be a great performer on coyotes. The light & fast 55gr will probably cause more damage to the pelt and the 100gr has a much better B.C. for long range work. Using different loads means you must remember what drop figures to use with each bullet. Keep life simple and enjoy.

I currently load for two .243 for which we have developed loads for the 55 grain Ballistic Tips. Both rifles shoot them well, and one gets over 4000fps at the same time. I have seen several coyotes taken with those loads, and results have been quite satisfactory. On gophers, 4000 fps is ...... well..... decisive.

There is some inconvenience using more than one load in a rifle due to sighting etc. but it takes only a short time at a range. We view the 55 grain loads as a lot of fun, but I don't think they offer any real advantages to heavier bullets on coyote sized game.
