Thoughts on the Gen 1 Kriss Vector .45ACP CRB?

I got a lemon. Tons of FTF and FTE and the hard charging handle issue. Shoot straight (when it shoots).

I modded 5 glock mags which helped a LOT with the issues, but now will not lock back on last round. Still mangles brass something fierce though, only an issue if you reload...

So, I like it, but not a huge fan.

Is this gen 1?
I had a gen 2 Kriss vector in 9mm and shot 400 rounds with no issues.

My first one would shoot everything including my 200gr hollowpoint handloads. I sold it and bought an HK USC which I think is a better firearm but non restricted barrels are hard to come by for them so I eventually sold it. I just got another Vector and I've only tried my handloads in it but zero issues so far. Fun little rifle that's cheap to shoot and rings the gongs nicely :)
My last one could ring the 200 yard gong fairly regularly once I figured out how much to hold over.

I don't think they are overpriced, of course I'd like to get one cheaper but if you compare it to the rest of our options it's not really unreasonable.

how is it balanced in NR?

The rifle is quite light and the shroud over the barrel is thin so it's not overly muzzle heavy. I have no complaints about it for ergos or weight.
I'm sure the restricted version is better balanced but I have no use for another range only toy now that I own enough land I can shoot in my backyard.
Pretty much every non restricted semi auto rifle out there is a little muzzle heavy, it's the price you pay to have a non restricted rifle that was originally designed to have a shorter light profile barrel. If you don't like all the muzzle heavy options out there blame the Canadian governments stupid laws that say a 16 inch barreled rifle is too dangerous to be used away from a range but by simply adding 2.5 inches it magically becomes much safer and less concealable.

I have a Gen 1 and am having some serious issues with it. It jams on the second last round on almost every magazine. It ejects the brass easy enough but the following round jams up, usually with the round oriented vertically with the action half closed on it. Have used the mag that came with it and a spare glock mag with no improvement. I spoke to KRISS who said there was some sort of recall(wouldn't give me more info than that) they could do on it but when they found I was in Canada they wouldnt ship it. Told me to contact North Sylva who I tried for over a year to get a hold of and they didn't answer any of my calls. Any help would be really appreciated guys, thanks!

Same thing here. I spoke to the gunsmith at NS and he basically said "send it in, who knows if we can do anything about it, you're lucky you have one that works at all". That was before the gen 2's were out, but I didn't send it in then, as it didn't seem like they really knew how to fix it. I modded the glock mag follower and improved the feeding quite a bit, but def not 100%
