Got some rem thounderbolt 22lr bulk used it in my semi 22 couldnt even chamber one the bullet heads on everyone is bigtime wobbly is this normal for 25bucks its useless

I've heard from a couple guys now that Remington rimfire ammo is only good if you never want to hit the same spot twice.
I have a Cooey model 60 bolt rifle that loves Remington for whatever reason. All my other guns are lucky to shoot under 3" @ 50yds when loaded with anything Remington.
CCI standard velocity and CCI Blazer are both easily 3/4" @ 50yds from most any rifle.

I have that same model Cooeye. Iron sights only. It is pretty accurate and Remi is what I put through it.

I have a half dozen Cooey 60's and they all gobble up the CCI Blazer bulk ammo no problemo. As does the Marlin and Henry. I'm a range session or 2 away from finishing my 2nd bulk pack of that stuff and I think I have 5 rounds that didn't shoot. I have seen some complain that they are too 'waxy', but I've either got a good batch or I clean my guns too often.

The Thunderbolts are the same rounds you get in the 'bucket of bullets'? I took a look at it, but thought the Blazer stuff was a better value proposition. Looks like I chose correctly.

the thunderbolts aren't the greatest but i get them for $20.00 a brick of 10 box of 50's,,they are super accurate in my Toz-13 russian single shot,,even my 10/22 isn't bad with them,,but not in the CCI league for sure,,,i think the thunderbolts in the loose bulk packs are the real cheap stuff,,the individual 50 's boxes seem better...

I'm a bit surprised that most of you are having trouble with thunderbolts; over the last year, I've probably shot over 15k rounds of thunderbolt with no real problems(1-2 duds every brick).

The only problem I've found is that the bullets aren't well lubed so you'll need to clean your barrel often to prevent leading.

Considering the price(~$16 per brick), accuracy is acceptable for casual plinking/mag-dumping.

There come a time that a couple of buck is worth it to me to run a cleaner gun and not futz with misfires as much

A couple bucks is nothing. I'll forego that cup of Timmy's and buy the good stuff from here on. It's less trouble and more fun.

Not shooting new Thunderbolt ammo yet but the older stock I have is not too bad: http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php/958302-CCI-Quiet-22-22LR-chrono-results?p=9048983#post9048983

Post 19 is mine where I chronographed a small test sample (ten rounds) of four types in my CZ 452 - details are there. While these are not my first choice, they (older stock) although not lubricated as the SK or Fed AM, are of adequate accuracy. I need to spend some more money on the expensive match grade rounds from Lapua and Eley etc. and try in my rifle and chrono out of interest.

Does any of your rem ammo have loose bullet tips?and does it still cycle in those guns

If you take a box of fifty from any manufacturer you'll likely find a couple bullets can be twisted slightly with a bit of pressure. However, I opened a new brick of Thunderbolts and found that most if not all of them can be twisted with the same light pressure. Even the Federal copper washed bulk stuff wasn't so easily and consistently twisted with light pressure. I have seen some rounds of type I don't remember seem loose in the case, but I attribute that more to rough handling. For the most part, I wouldn't call them "loose". If my description is what you meant by "loose" then yes.

My 452 is a bolt action so it has not failed to cycle anything. I have an old Remington Speedmaster that I've had since I was a kid that I haven't shot in about a year that I have shot most domestic rimfire through with random exceptions, has reliably cycled standard velocity and up. Shot cartridges, CB, BB etc. and probably subsonic (although I've not tried yet) do not cycle in the semi-auto.
