Threaded barrel Savage b22 ss

I'm with the impression that, my gunsmith messed up when treading my Savage b22 ss barrel. If correct what solution may be the best to fix it?

Your Gunsmith is only as good as his word.
What has he offered up ?
What damage are you talking about ?
And really these types of threads go no place but down.... (btw , the pun was not intended)

Looks like he threaded it a bit bigger than 1/2×28.

Or maybe he didn't take enough passes for the proper depth?

I have another factory threaded barrel, and the protection nut is too tight for the threads on my Savage.
