So I was hoping to find some info on threaded glock barrels....I have to thread one for a buddy of mine, but I'm not sure what the spec is for pistol barrels as opposed to rifle barrels...
I know I TYPICALLY thread a rifle barrel .625" (5/8) from the muzzle to the shoulder.
How much thread is on your glock? Also what size/pitch? 5/8? 9/16?
Thanks in advance.

Heres a .pdf link originally put out by AAC. They list and spec out all the various muzzle threads - caveat, I'm sure they are oriented towards working with AAC products, but it would be a great place to start.

the stock glock threaded barrels run a odd ball pitch compared to all other after market barrels.
you may want to go with what the after market fellas run with, easier to fit stuff on that way.
as not many places make stuff that fit on the stock glock threads.

Factory Glock Barrels are threaded in 13.5 x 1 Metric Lefthand thread if memory serves correct, most aftermarket Glock Barrels are threaded in 1/2" x 28 and are a right hand thread.

Oh WOW that pdf is perfect. Actual engineered drawings with tolerances for pitch diameter and everything. Perfect perfect perfect. Thank you muchly!!!!

Also thanks for the info on the funky glock stuff...standard is always better.
