Threading a barrel... what do I need, and how do I do it?

I've got a bunch of old Vz58 muzzle devices laying around, and a couple of T81s and SKSs I'd love to thread to use them on. Is it difficult to do? What tools do I need? I'm sure this has been asked before, but I couldn't find a thread with answers. Thanks in advance.
 
You can buy the Dies off Amazon for the correct thread pitch. I just got a 1/2x28, & there are many DIY tutorials on YouTube, along with ones for Crowning. My Buddy is good at it, Im just learning as well.
 
To do it properly requires a lathe. Diameters need to be established and then the thread cut.

Use a gunsmith is my suggestion.

Would it be 1/2 x 28 though ? If you're using a die, gotta make damn sure it goes on square as well .
