Threading a barrel

Looking to get a barrel threaded so that I can install a muzzle brake. Any recommendations? I'd need to mail the barreled action to the smith regardless so the location isn't a huge issue for me.

Close to me? Doubtful unfortunately... I'm in Nunavut. That's why I said in my original post that it would have to be shipped regardless.

Yep I see.... There is many good gunsmith. Best thing is to contact them and see if they would take the job.

You can try Rod Hendrickson in Edmonton. He does great work. I have heard that Dennis Sorrensen does some great work as well, but I believe he is semi-retired.

Have you ever considered a clamp on brake?

May want to Check out spatha tactical they make a threadless muzzle brake thatch as a Collett system that will fit many barrle sizes

Yep I see..... I have heard that Dennis Sorrensen does some great work as well, but I believe he is semi-retired.

Yep, check with Dennis (Guntech) he's one of the best there is and he's been doing it for 50 years that I know of personally. His turn around time is in days not months or years............
