Is it possible??
I know Dlask barrel 14" are thick enough for this but how about Norinco?
Is there any advantage to go for a Dlask 14" and buy a Rem 870 receiver or just purchase a Norinco already with a 14" and have it threaded for choke?
Price is also a consideration.

Thanks

I don't think the Norc barrels can take a choke, they are very very thin and light. The DLASK barrels are very robust and weigh almost twice the weight of a Norc barrel.

The advantage with the Dlask barrel is being able to choke it.

Norc barrels CAN take chokes, but as noted, they are VERY thin. Without the choke installed on my 14", I can almos bend the wall at the tip with my hand. With the chokes in, there is no issue. I went with Remchoke, but others might be a little smaller.

That being said, if I had to do it over, I'd spend the money on a Dlask and get it threaded for Remchokes.

Sort of related question here. I just pick-up an older 870 wingmaster in 2.75" with a fixed choke. What kind of cost would it be to get tapped for adjustable choke?
Cheers,
Grant
