threading size ?

is their a standard thread size for muzzle breaks? or should I ask: what do most people use on their muzzle breaks

I came across 4 3"dia x4" titanium slugs at work "surplus material from 10' bars" that I want to play with and thought about making one.

If you make your own brakes, you have the option to install the thread size of your choice. I use a standard thread pitch on the barrel and the brake.
Depending on the barrel O.D, 1/2-20, 9/16-18, 5/8-18 or 3/4-16.
