this might be a stupid question...
however here it goes:
I have several guns with three dot sights and i am wondering what you guys usually use to make the dots white again
thanks for your help

Javex? "Gets your whites their whitest!" :)

Or have you tried Crest overnight whitening strips? :D

Seriously... If the dot's are just dirty a good cleaning, if not I've seen people use model paint to redo them

If a bath doesn't fix it, Testor's model paint and a wee paint brush will. White-out will work in a pinch. Doesn't last long though.

I was hoping to get some real information like highly visible special paints and so on...

Instet i got all this BULL#### from you guys!!!!!

Thanks a lot!!!

If you wanted to know about "highly visible special paints", maybe you should have mentioned in your question that you were seeking information regarding such paints. Not everyone is a mind reader, you know.

Remember: there are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

At one of my favorite stores, "Londero's", you can buy glow-in-the-dark luminescent paint for fishing lures. It costs about four bucks. You have to put a coat of white, then the glow paint, works fine. :D

Life's to short to not have a sense of humour. Personally, I thought the white paint, a good cleaning, white out and model paint were good suggestions. I'll try to remember not to give you good suggestions, on questions that you ask in the future, lest your panties get bunched up again! I guess I'll just shut up now.

In all seriousness Mr Polaris, you should be apologizing. You come on here asking for help, you get it with some good homour too boot! It maybe your in the wrong section of the forum, just ask the Moderators to give you access to the youth section. They are more age appropriate for you.

PS, If your not for painting, try rubbing alcohol and a Q-tip.

Radium paint would be good for replacement dots.... would always glow nicely, in the day or the night. Sadly I dont think you can find it for sale anywhere these days. Apparently its not safe.
