Three Hard To Get Colts, one 1911 and two SAA 1873's

Interesting... Are there chains that sell the wax or do you buy online?

Any good for gloss blue finishes or just natural metal?

Any finishes, some collectors even put it on wood. There is a reason that museums use that wax. If you look at some of the Python pictures on this forum you'll see the results. The best price I got for it was directly from England. (Fleabay)

For look the Novak are my favorite and since they are adjustable, make everyones happy... JP.

Drifting to adjust windage isn't really a practical type of adjustment imo and requires tools most don't have in the range bag. With a gun like this, I'm sure it is well aligned though, so hopefully all you'd need to do is adjust for elevation to accommodate your favourite load. I've seen some Novak type sites (and like on some CZs) where the site is locked in place with an allen screw instead of friction. Much easier to adjust for windage, though you do need to monitor the screw as it can loosen.

According to my readings the Colt Govt Combat 45 ACP is on par with a custom build...
Quite surprising and interresting... Another thing to make me think, i dont get much mental rest when i shop on CGN dealers... JP.

Nice work on bringing these in, I think Colt is putting out some of their finest work right now. Here's a couple of my SCGM in hard chrome and 38 super (these had to be imported from US). I haven't fired them but will say they are tight, well put together 1911's, and will stand up to the Baer's and other higher end makers as far as fit and finish.
