i have an idea of what I recently acquired, but thought I would ask the experts.

It's a winchester model 12
Parked super speed for three inch 12 gauge
30 inch plain barrel
Weighted butt stock with a red recoil pad

Overall it's in good condition, lots of bluing left, no rust etc.

Is it appropriate to call this the heavy duck?
And does this Winchester garner any collector interest or worth the same as a similar 2 3/4?

Winchester Model 12 Heavy Duck Gun - the only model 12 made with 3" chamber; 30 or 32 inch barrel, solid rubber recoil pad, length of pull is 1/2" shorter than regular Model 12. Made from 1935 to 1963. Barrel ahead of chamber marked "FOR SUPER SPEED & SUPER-X". Mine made in 1947 - send serial # and I'll let you know your year of manufacture.

Also this shotgun is generally worth more than the regular Model 12 in 12 gauge 2 3/4", how much more? Good question, depends on the buyer....but definitely worth a premium.
