Back up is just that...backup. Is the $140 rear sight any different than the $14 dollar one.

From my experience. No.

You look through a hole. It is not that complicated to manufacture.

I got a PTS set of BUIS from e-bay. $14. Not bad I think.

Have you been able to get them zero'd at anything beyond 50m?

I have a 12.5" setup that I was planning to run exclusive irons on, and I think the max I would take it is 50-75m before expecting just "hits"
