Dewd ........ you really must lay off the hallucinogens for a while and clear your head. :)

.
Now why would you lie like that SC, the Sauer is a sweet looking rig, sure it hasn't got pressed on checkering, a cheap action, a lousy mag, and a hideous looking reciever like the Rems, but still....oh, sorry, that must have been your point eh?
Soooo, how long before you sell off the pumps and step up to some quality
If I was gonna get a semi, I think the 303 would maybe be the one, if she came in synthetic.

Every time I go through my Frankonia (Germany) catalogue here at home, I drool over alot of the fine hunting rifles and shotguns. Nobody can spend too much money like us crazy euros.... *LOL*

Well not quite. They retail in Europe for under 2000 Euros, so you should be able to get one from a friendly dealer over here for under 2K.
And any way you cut it, thats still cheaper than a Merkel autoloader.
If it sells for 2000 Euros (2500-3000 CAD IIRC) all the way over there, add import fees, shipping, dealer markup etc... And I can't see it costing any less than 4500-5000 CAD. Who care about this overpriced eurocrap anyway ?:puke:

and it would elicit the same reaction as a ghilli suit made out of mossy oak dildo's around these parts!

Hehehe, that's a pretty strange image...:D

Besides who care what others think?

OH, don't get me wrong ........ I didn't say the Sauer wasn't a good rifle, I said it was visually offensive.

Any rifle worth 4 times more than a grungy olde 7600 would have to be good.
 :D

.

WOW... I am thoroughly UNIMPRESSED! That gas system is virtually identical to a Remington and the Sauers have about the same reputation for cycling.
Nice wood and a rediculous price do not make it a good semi in my opinion.
I'll stick with a Benelli R1 as my first choice best quality semi.. it is in a whole other league than the Sauer.

Dude, if you have someone willing to give you that kind of money for 4 7600s, take it and run :p
The Sauer is sweet, not as nice as the Jagd Match 202, but still better looking than most semis out there.

I have a Frankonia catalog too that I got when I was in Germany 20 years ago, you have to like those German hunting outfits, it's all about how well you are dressed. But in Germany hunting is pretty much just an upper class pastime.

It's a lot nicer looking than a Benelli R1 (that's not saying much). But I guess ugly is ugly.
