Do you guys recommend a thumbhole stock for hunting or varmint shooting
Would I be better with the standard pistol grip type of stock
I intend to mount a 4x12 power scope for varmint shooting and probably be using a bipod. Would I be better with the raised cheek plate in either stock
Thanks

I would definitely try one before you purchase one. I have shot a few of my friends and I don't like them. They certainly have a different feel, that I don't care for. Just my 2 cents

I think they look plain ugly! I like the raised cheek piece. Find I can rest firmly on the stock when it is raised vs. very lightly on a traditional stock like my Win 70 fwt. Not a huge deal. Also like the look of the raised cheek piece.

I love mine. Don't know if ill ever go back! However I have friends that claim they hate it. That could just be the jealousy talking when I get a new rig though.
