Made specifically for California market from China. Very hard to come by even down south. Your best bet would be to talk to the sales rep's at Sarco and see if they have any laying around and take a trip down south to pick it up.

I could make one of those, i got a cnc machine in my garage, i could 3d all of it, what wood should i use? thanks

I've got a restricted 16.5" SKS-D that originally came with the thumbhole stock. The firerarm was bought in northerm Minnesota and exported in 1996. Gun and a crate of ammo cost me $210US.

I threw the stock away after I replaced with an aftermarket one. The stock was horrible, although comfortable. Just didn't look very good to me.

I think I have one of the few restricted short barreled paratrooper models in Canada. It is a Norinico, from China. All matching numbers and mint.

Sorry dude, it sat in basement for years before I got rid of it, was before I was Gunnut, otherwise I would have posted it in the EE.

From what I was told by the dealer of the firearm, the stock was Russian birch. It was a beautiful stock, perfect condition but it just didn't fit the look for it I wanted. I also wanted something a little more comfortable.
