I took my new Thureon out to the range today. Boy the 45's like a carbine they were hitting the steel hard.

One failure to eject out of 150 rounds today and it was on a last round. It seems pretty solid and I'll see if I get any more ejection issues.

Too bad it doesn't hold open after the last round is fired but it works well.

Had mine out yesterday with a couple of new shooters.
The young lady picked the Thureon as her favourite out of .223 and 9MM AR's, USC, Tavor, CX4 Storm, PS90 etc.
She found the recoil to be minimal, the controls and fit were good for her, and she liked how she was punching the same spot in the target until there was just one, big hole.
I was thinking of getting another one in 9MM, having been impressed with the build quality and performance.

Yeah I bet. The recoil off the 45 was nothing a 9mm would be a really good gun and likely more practical, however I've wanted a 45 carbine for awhile so practical smactical :) Tons of fun to shoot in the cold I bet in the summer the only thing holding me back is how fast I can reload for it.

I just ordered one in 9mm the other day. Really looking forward to it to come in. Should be sometime next week. :D

What is everyone using for sights? I have the round foregrip and wondered if anyone found a pistol grip for the front?

Thureon seem to be able to get foregrips easily enough, why not ask them ?

I much prefer the round hand guard to the hexagonal one, particularly the 45 hand guard with the big round ventilation holes.

The CMR-AK 1X4 Hilux is ideal for the TD, very clear green illumination and very light, just think i is a perfect match... JP.
