Just seen one on the interwebs and thought it actually looked pretty good. Does anybody here have experience with a Thureon Defense carbine? Are they a real quality gun or no better than the jr pistol carbines?

I once had both the JR Carbine and Thureon Defense, both were in .40 cal.
I kept the Thureon. It seemed to be a stronger simpler rifle. It is MUCH easier to disassemble to clean and maintain. So far no problems with it.

I have the the comp model (or rather I built one because no one to my knowledge sells the full comp model).

It has been perfectly reliable and accurate. Easy to disassemble and clean and very few parts in its operation.

I've used their older Thureon Defense GA model in 9mm (without the extra rails...so it is similar to the current basic model).
Between the girlfriend and myself about 2,000 rounds of brass ammo have been run through it without an issue.
It seems accurate to me but I'm only shooting at 25 yards.
