I am really, really happy with it too. I'm in to it for a bit more than I anticipated at the outset, but once you go down the parts rabbit hole it's a slippery slope. No regrets though, it is my new favorite!

Looks good, but why go with a Thureon if its going to be restricted anyway? Why not a 9mm AR?

I like that this is purpose built for 9mm, and it's quite a bit smaller than an AR, both in width and depth. And besides, this is registered as a pistol which I like if nothing else for the novelty, but on paper I can run 10 round mags. I read a ton of interviews before I bought it, and couldn't find a bad word about Thureon's products and I have to say the quality is superb.

Fair enough! You won’t get any argument from me about the quality of a Thureon. I prefer some of the ergonomics of the AR platform, but that’s probably because I have spent more time on them.
