tight slick actions?

i have sportinf rifles built of apre-first world war 1903 springfield and an 1903 made norwegian krag-jorgensen. this are 2 of the smoothis guns i've felt, the springfield feels as slick chambering a round as it does when empty, and neither of them have much if any bolt wobble when open.

My old school chromoly Remington bolts work like glass glass. I can open the bolt then chamber a round with a quick jerk from the hip.

A 7X57 in the Mauser built around it must be the smoothest feeding bolt action made....Very nice!

My schultz&larsen is silky smooth and locks up tighter than any rifle that Ive cycled. That being said, a good rem 700 or model 70 win work as good as anything for hunting. regards: kimbernuck
