I had something similar happen to me with the mag that came with my T3 Sporter. It turned out that the spring was incorrectly attached to the follower. Keep fiddling with it, there's a correct way to assemble a T3 mag. Perhaps there's a tutorial somewhere on the Internet.

6.5x55, 30-06, and 300 Win Mag all use the same magazine, which is pretty cool.

Good to know. I've been consolidating calibres and didn't know that 6.5x55 will fit in my 30-06 T3 mags.

I have a Tikka Tactical and my shooting partner has two Tikka Sporters and Stainless/Laminate in 308. These mags are the best around as far as I am concerned, had a little trouble with one of them, turns out it was the following like The Kurgan said, easy fix. If you damage these mags I am pretty sure you would also damage a metal mag if the same abuse was applied to it. Yes they are spendy, but how many mags do you need?
