I think that might be because the timney was set too light. I had that happen with other triggers

That is what I thought at first, but I made the trigger as heavy as possible, same thing keeps on happening, it would #### once out of ten tries,
 
i had a jard in mine for a while. didn't like their safety setup and went back to oem. all cranked up on buck fever a 2lb trigger feels like a 1/2lb trigger anyway ...
 
I know this is old thread but is there a spring for the Tikka 2 stage for super varmint?? I bought the yo Dave but their spring is longer than stock so I cut to same size but it’s still too stiff of a spring. So whoever said it’s compatible it’s not compatible.
Does anybody know what the pull weights for this 2 stage. Is the Timney 2 stage more lighter pull especially the last stage?? Pls help.
 
I'd email re: the trigger spring length.

If you're looking for a two stage after market trigger, and you have the budget, look at the triggers made by Sidhe.
