Tikka 223 and scope set up

Hello guy's I have installed a scope onto my Tikka HB 223 1-8 twist, the scope is a Leupold 6.5-20x40mm with side focus adjustment. I have bore sited the rifle with two different boresiters, I have the L to R adjustment but the U to D adjustment is way out of wack. I am shootind 55 g hp bullets, if I set it up and hit the target at 25 yrds, how much adjustment would be needed for a 100 yrd shot?

As in...? It is bottomed out and you are not on target? You had to adjust it a few clicks to get it on target? You need to be more specific if you are looking for help here.
 
I have not been able to hit the target, but my question is that when I hit the target at 25 yrds how much difference will there be at 100 yrds?

You bore sighted it at 100 yards (with the bore sighter) and you are not on paper at 100 yards?
 
Get a bigger target to shoot at 100 yards. take a shot at the top of it, bottom of it, sides of it. depending what shot lands you on paper adjust accordingly. I've used this method without a bore sight even.
