Who of you have Tikka T3's in 25-06. I know the tikka's are accurate rifles but i"m wondering how the 25-06's shoot in those rifles and how do they like the heavier 120 grain bullets?

Thanks

Why the heck do you care? You aren't going to enjoy owning a Tikka, you are too much of a snob.:D

I know I"m a remington snob, and it took a lot of talking to myself to ask about a T3. Just at the curiosity stage anyhow.:D

Problem is the SPS stainless Remingtons are just plain ugly, I wish they didn't blast the metal with road gravel. I can't believe that it saves that much time and effort to poorly finish metal. But what the hell do I know,

I've never seen a .25-06 that didn't shoot like a laser beam.

That said, I really like my T3 Lite in .300 WSM (but am presently selling it to fund a possible F-class competition rig)... it's taken some great game for me, and the few misses I've had were blatantly my fault. Off the bench I get roughly MOA with premium hunting ammo (Winchester Supreme, Ballistic Silvertip) so you can't really complain. Trigger's crisp, the action is smoooooooooooth, and the detachable mag is a nice feature to have as well.

If you wanted the finish on a SS SPS to look nice, you could get it bead blasted with fine used beads. One of the guys told me he has done many of them for customers. The rifle is way cheaper, so you could afford mods.

Yup, that's how it starts then you wake up one morning, hung over, in bed with a guy named Bruce! :D

Never seen a Tikka that didn't shoot........

A hunting partner has a t-3 in 25-06,and it shoots both the 100gr partition and 100gr tsx into 3/4 moa.He hasn't bothered with heavier bullets, and probably never will.

first post here, i just shot a little whitetail buck this fall with a buddies Tikka Lite 25-06 at 160 yds, nice clean kill, no recoil, cheap ammo.... considering a purchase.
