Tikka 300wsm - Time for a new barrel

You'll need a different mag and bolt stop. Consider throating the new barrel with the shortish Tikka mag in mind.

It might be worth trying seating your rounds long and shooting it as single shot as a test. If accuracy can be restored by chasing the lands, then the mag and bolt stop might get you back in the game by itself.

I've had Tikkas in 300WSM and 300 Win. The recoil was day and night different, if that's a factor.

i cant explain either. i had a winchester model 70 fwt 300wsm and one 300 win mag sporster with the longer barrel and the 300 win mag had more recoil ...

I would sell it and move on with a new rifle. If it isn’t a custom build, you could get a new rifle for marginally less than a rebarrel. B and C stock and proper torque specs are important. If your groups are that large try swapping out the optic as that could be the problem. Even a Lee Enfield with 50k rounds should shoot sub 6 inches.
