Tikka 695 in 7mm rem mag - Stainless

I have a friend who wants to sell me this rifle and I can't find a lot of detail on this firearm. It's got a factory black composite stock and a single stack mag. The condition is great, not sure it's fired 40 rounds.

Are these a good rifle? Any better or worse than say a Sako in the same configuration?

Who sells extra mags?

It's a much better rifle that the stuff tikka sells now. They are heavy but it should shoot well. Mags should be available if look around.

A lot more solid feeling stock than the t3.I'll take an older tikka anyday before a t3.
cabelas sells magazines for them.

My stainless M695 in .30-06 is awesome. 1/2" 5 shot groups with handloads and the bolt slides smooth as silk. Definitely better than the T3's. Buy it!

And with regards to mags, they are pretty elusive. I found one at cabelas Edmonton earlier this year and it was pricey! $120 if my memory serves me, but they aren't becoming anymore common, so I picked one up
