Tikka 698? vs Tikka T-3 lite

Thanks for all the replies,
I'm leaning heavily towards a new T-3, I'm just not sure whether to synthetic or wood. It will be blued for sure. What are some good mounting options that some of you are using, I don't want my scope to slip in the rings, as I know recoil will be vicious.

I got mine in synthetic/blued and I wish it was either wood/blued or better yet synthetic/stainless...
I've got the Tikka Optiloks on mine. Work fine
 
I have two SS M695's, one in .30-06 and one in .338WM.
Love them both.
You may want to consider a limbsaver recoil system or a recoil reduction system for the .338, if you are going to shoot it a bit.
I weigh around 180 and it gives me a fair push when I touch it off.
I am debating a mercury recoil reduction system vs. Magna-Porting, (if I can find a g'smith in Canada who does it.)
As it stands, even with a Past Recoil Pad, it becomes unpleasant to shoot after a short while. (Yeah, I know, I'm a wimp)
The .30-06 is no problem at all.
